Malham National Park Centre

Malham, BD23 4DA : (grid reference: SD 900 627)

Tel: 01729 833200
malham@yorkshiredales.co.uk

Malham National Park Centre can supply local weather and information you may need to help you explore some of the most dramatic sights and walks in the Yorkshire Dales; the majestic and awe inspiring cliff of Malham Cove, Gordale Scars fantastic vistas and the delightful waterfall at Janet’s Foss. For the more hardy of us maybe a swim is what’s called for, but please take care as the water will be cold and the rocks slippery. You can also find out about watching the peregrine falcons that regularly nest at the Cove, or finally you can explore Malham Tarn and take a leisurely walk around its shores.

There is a fantastic added attraction that car park is also a designated Dark Sky Discovery site, so a great place to experience the dark skies and fantastic stars above.

Malham can be reached by bus from Skipton, which has great connections to the main rail network. See National Rail and http://www.dalesbus.org/ for local times
