Also within the visitor centre is the aptly named Firebox Cafe, with a selection of quality light refreshments made where possible from locally sourced supplies based in the Yorkshire Dales area. In addition the cafe is an integrated part of Stage 1 Cycles, who hire, repair and provide routes for cycling all over the Yorkshire Dales.

There is a fantastic added attraction that car park is also a designated Dark Sky Discovery site, so a great place to experience the dark skies and fantastic stars above.
