National Meadows Day celebration
A celebration of wildflower meadows across the UK on or around the first Saturday of July each year.
Join us as we celebrate Swaledale’s magnificent meadows at their midsummer best on Sunday 7 July 2024. A chance to have fun and explore this vanishing habitat through a variety of activities and workshops, including:
• guided flower walks along the river Swale,
• pollinator and plant identification sessions,
• craft activities,
• refreshments
• scything demonstration and much more
