Easter Fun and eggs at Bolton Castle

Open: 10am – 5pm
Visiting Bolton Castle offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, have fun, and acquire knowledge all in one exceptional experience. The Easter holiday, with its various customs, is often unfamiliar to children. Our castle trail offers an enjoyable opportunity for children to learn interesting information by participating in a search and discovery activity.
The trail concludes with a chocolate prize and the distribution of Maundy money as a symbolic gesture. The dragon Alfraeda has returned to her preferred castle. Seeking assistance, she is in need of help to locate her misplaced egg. Are you able to provide assistance? The trail is complimentary upon entry.
Please obtain our informational sheet from the ticket desk. Ensure that you are accompanied by an adult who possesses a mobile phone, as we will require a prompt photograph of you with the egg. Take pleasure in exploring our exquisite castle, gardens, maze, and scenic vistas. You have the option to participate in our delightful raffle for a chocolate prize!
