Monotype Workshop with Hester Cox.
Spend the day exploring different monotype techniques with printmaker Hester Cox. Taking ground nesting birds and their habitats as your inspiration, you will learn three different methods of making one-off prints. Monoprinting is a direct and spontaneous way of making images and you will experiment with monochrome line work and tonal methods in the morning followed by colour, collage and stencils in the afternoon. At the end of the day you will have a folder full of lovely prints inspired by the wildlife of our beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
