Come for a Dark Skies walk! This evening, we will walk to Janet’s Foss waterfall, Gordale Scar and the legendary Malham Cove.

Although a familiar and popular place during the day, it will appear very different at night. Walking at night can be thrilling and rewarding, leaving you feeling completely energised and rejuvenated.

The location is ideal for stargazing, moon bathing, or simply taking a walk under the night sky. The last few times we held this event it was cloudy, but because this is such a magical place to walk at night, participants were still ‘WOW’d by the experience.

But this is no ordinary nighttime stroll. If the sky is clear, we will discuss the stars, as well as deep time and the terrain we are traversing. In addition, we will teach you how to ‘fine tune’ your senses through a brief mindfulness exercise so that you can gain even more from the experience.

The outcome? Your wow factor will increase. And the concerns you had previously may have vanished

Note: The walk length is roughly 5 miles and mainly on footpaths. We’ll be following recognised tracks, staying at a low level but there is rough ground, tree roots and rocky paths. A relatively good level of fitness will be required.
