Yorkshire Dales Dark Skies Festival
February 14 - March 2
We celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Dark Skies Festival – 14 February to 2 March 2025!
The festival, run in collaboration with the North York Moors National Park, includes various events, from night-time nature walks, wellbeing and mindfulness sessions to stargazing with astronomers and giant telescopes! Events occur at numerous venues across the national park.
The stunning dark sky of the National Park, free from light pollution, is one of its very special qualities. And we are thrilled to have been designated a Dark Sky Reserve by DarkSky International (formerly International Dark-Sky Association).
