Ripon, renowned for its historical significance, serves as the starting point for your exhilarating full-day canoe excursion. Our How Stean Gorge outdoor adventure team will meet you at the Canal Basin in Ripon. There, you will be provided with the necessary equipment and receive an introduction to the equipment you will be using throughout the day. Starting at the tranquil Ripon Canal, you will transition to the swifter River Ure, which will guide you through scenic rural areas, encompassing charming towns and Newby Hall, before ultimately reaching Boroughbridge.
